This project was a fun one for us! This started with an existing deck but the wood frame was warped and rotted. We graded the underside of the deck, installed a weed barrier and covered with pea stone. We rebuilt the framing, enlarged the footprint of the new deck with pressure treated lumber and applied water sealer to all lumber. The customer went with a composite decking that we installed with a double picture frame layout and hidden fasteners. The stair stringers were custom cut to provide the perfect size steps that were code compliant. Lastly, We installed new composite railing and facia. We topped this job off with custom made trim for facia corners and butt joints. This deck will still be in great shape 30-40 years from now! This customer plans on having us back to enclose the underside of the deck and we have some awesome things planned for it! We cant wait to add to this project!
